A TRIP TO BROOKLYN BRIDGE AND PARK

The bridge!
I always feel excited whenever I walk/ride on a bridge, as I can enjoy both the nearest river  to the farthest buildings / mountains. Wander around the bridge  like a kid! Never mind..Most of the people wander around like us,in case if you notice..
Walking on a bridge never failed to amuse me..Never!Always had a pleasure of riding/walking over a bridge in my hometown which runs across a perennial river(As it is hard to find water in a river many places these days)😯, its scenic in its own way and holds certain iconic bridges too..

Visiting New York is like a baby's day out for me. The place is quite familiar as I had seen many of the places in Bolly/Kolly wood movies and in pictures shared by my friends. Brooklyn Bridge!!  claimed to be one of the oldest bridges of United states.
 



One can either choose to walk or ride a bicycle on the bridge. Well! we ( me and my hubby)chose the pedestrian path as we can definitely experience the magnificient look of New york city while we head our majestic walk towards the bridge tower. Evening would be the best time to visit this place, as both the day and night views can be witnessed .. Though we went on a bright sunny noon😉..Still we had a stunning view of the city..







The bridge was roughly a mile long. The history of the bridge dates back to 1860s..I read it from the tablet signage on the tower..



The bridge is held by numerous strings, it looked really like a spider web.



From the bridge,  Manhattan skyline, Manhattan bridge and Statue of Liberty can be spotted. After spending an hour and a half there , we moved to the brooklyn bridge park.






The bridge park is just adjacent to the river banks with lot of amusements, piers, boardwalk, boathouse with kayaking and cruise services.. The park holds a carousel which has a history of  100 years. .The ticket fare was around 2$.. Age is just a number, so you can enjoy the Merry go round!


The river bank holds many kids amusement activities ..Planning for a get together or birthday party?? Keep this in your list 👍



Grab an ice cream or take plenty of fluids if you go on a bright sunny day as we did..end of the day I must tell ,I was completely dehydrated..


One of the preferred locations for wedding shoot here.Had my wedding in NYc, I would have picked this place😉Anyway I had my wedding shoot in a ecopark and the place dint disappoint me indeed.

 Me and my husband just love posing for photos..well I love more than him..took my selfie stick..We clicked..clicked..clicked..more than 200 photos..



Had a great walk!A day that can be spent well while we  could burn some calories!
